Uxbridge Nurseries is a family owned and operated business. Started by Ben and Florence deBoer, it has now grown to seven farms throughout the Durham Region.
It was 35 years ago that Ben and his family planted the first crop of trees. Since then, our goals have not changed as we strive to grow a vast variety of high quality nursery stock at a fair price with the finest customer service.
Uxbridge Nurseries consistently keeps up and adapts to the never-ending changes and demands of the green industry. The environment with its challenges of diseases, insects and ever changing weather patterns is only one component.
We need to also grow plants that will perform well in towns and cities where they are confronted with urban pollution and compacted soils. The higher density housing developments need us to consider the demand for plants that have a compact and upright growth habit too.
